More than 300 customers were without power after a tree came crashing down on Neal Avenue this morning, according to a Dayton Power and Light spokesperson.
Police on the scene reported power outages after the tree fell around 3:15 a.m., according to reports. Richard Allen Preparatory, Salem Avenue campus, is closed due to the outage, school officials said.
The large tree closed Neal Avenue while DP&L crews worked to repair downed power lines in the area.
It's unknown what caused the tree to fall this morning.
