Driver ID’d in Darke County rollover crash

The driver of the car involved in a rollover crash in Darke County Sunday morning has been cited, according to deputies.

Richard D. Medrano, 22, of Bradford was travelling northbound in a Chevy Cruze on Gettysburg-Pitsburg Road when he went airborne after striking a guardrail.

After hitting the guardrail, Medrano landed in a ditch and flipped the car multiple times, according to a release.

Medrano, and the passenger in the car, were both treated at Wayne Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Two people are at Wayne Hospital following a single-car, rollover crash on Gettysburg-Pitsburg Road in Darke County.

Dispatchers say the scene is cleared and the sheriff’s office is investigating the crash.

The conditions of the two injured, as well as the circumstances leading to the crash, are currently unknown.

Police and medics are on the scene of a rollover crash on Gettysburg-Pitsburg Road in Darke County.

Crews were dispatched on a report of a rolled over car around 12:58 am Sunday morning.

Initial reports indicate the one-car crash has injured two people.

A pole and power lines are down, according to scanner traffic.
