Driver pinned against concrete median in I-70 crash released from hospital

The 71-year-old driver cited in a Sunday crash that ended with his vehicle pinned between a concrete wall and a semi on I-70 in Clark County has been released from the hospital, the state patrol said.

James Netherton, of Dayton, was taken to Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek following the crash near state Route 4.

He was cited for failure to control, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Netherton’s vehicle was pinned nose-down following the crash and multiple fire departments assisted with pulling him from the vehicle.
