Drowsy driving blamed in crash involving 4-H camp counselors

A brother and sister are safe after their vehicle bounced off a curb, sheared a power pole and flipped onto its side.

It happened on West Main Street near Corporate Drive in Troy.

Troy police said the 18-year-old brother fell asleep at the wheel while traveling home from a 4H camp in Miami County where both teens are camp counselors.

According to police, both were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash and were uninjured thanks to airbag deployments.
