Missing Springfield Twp. man located safely, Clark County sheriff’s office says

UPDATE @ 8:41 p.m.: Missing Springfield Twp. resident Pat McCurdy, 78, was located safely, Clark County Sheriff's 9-1-1 Coordinator Michael Combs said.

UPDATE @ 8:08 p.m.: 

The statewide Missing Adult Alert for Pat McCurdy of Springfield Twp. has been canceled, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said.

The sheriff’s office released no other information about McCurdy or the circumstances of his being located.

UPDATE @ 5:50 p.m.:

Pat McCurdy is now the subject of a statewide Missing Adult Alert, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

The medical condition for which the 78-year-old Springfield Twp. resident needs medication is Alzheimer’s, according to the sheriff’s office.

INITIAL REPORT

An Endangered Missing Adult Alert was issued for Pat McCurdy, 78, a Springfield Twp. resident last seen at his home on West Possum Road about 2:30 p.m. today.

According to the alert issued by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Mr. McCurdy has been known to walk away from his residence. He was last seen wearing a red and black Ohio State shirt and gray pants.

He has medical conditions that require medication.

Mr. McCurdy is 5-foot-7, 145 pounds. He is balding, but has gray hair and brown eyes.

If you see him or know of his whereabouts, you are asked to dial 9-1-1 or call the sheriff’s office at 937-328-2560.
