UPDATE @ 10:09 a.m. (Feb. 15):
Three UD female students reported break-ins across campus within the span of one hour Wednesday morning, telling police a nude suspect had entered their bedroom.
In an email obtained by this newsroom, UD police told students each of the break-ins appears to have occurred through unsecured windows and doors.
The incidents are reported to have occurred first at 3:15 a.m. on Woodland Avenue, then at 4 a.m. on Frericks Way, then again at 4:15 on College Park.
The female involved in the Frericks Way break-in told police the suspect attempted to restrain her as she left the room.
Police said in all three instances, the suspect was described as a white male in his mid 20's, approximately 5'10", medium build, with brown curly hair.
The university police are collecting evidence at the scenes and continue investigating.
Police said they are looking for a naked man on the University of Dayton’s campus after he reportedly broke into four houses overnight.
Around 4:20 a.m., police responded to a duplex in the 400 block of College Park Avenue after a woman said she woke up to a naked man standing in her bedroom. She said the man fled on foot and she ran to her roommate’s bedroom.
The woman reported she and her roommate locked the bedroom door until police arrived.
Police said the man, who is described as skinny and white, has broken into four houses tonight. Police said they’ve been searching for him for an hour.
