Fire Crews put out a garage fire in Springfield

Fire crews responded to a garage fire on Mills Rd. in Springfield around 2 a.m. this morning.

When our crew got on scene fire crews had already doused the blaze and only smoke remained.

Smoke damage was visible from the exterior of the structure.

Fire crews had trouble getting into the garage at first.

However, the owner of the property may have helped open the door to the garage with one of their tractors.
