Firefighter injured in Dayton house fire

A firefighter was injured in a Dayton house fire early Tuesday morning after falling through a hole in the floor.

The firefighter was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with a shoulder injury, according to fire officials.

The fire broke out at the vacant house at 331 Troy Street around 3 a.m.

The cause is under investigation, but is suspicious.

Firefighters in Dayton have responded to a reported fully involved house fire early Tuesday morning.

Crews were dispatched to the intersection of Troy and Chapel streets around 3:25 a.m. and reported the building was well involved in smoke and flames.
