2 firefighters, 1 resident injured in Shelby Co. house fire

Officials on the scene report two firefighters and one resident of the home were transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.

Injuries are believed to be minor.

FIRST REPORT

Firefighters from multiple jurisdictions in Shelby County are on the scene of a house fire on Ohio 47 Monday morning.

Crews were first dispatched to the home in the 19000 block of Ohio 47, near Baker Road, around 2:55 a.m.

Initial reports indicate the home was well involved in smoke and flames, but all occupants were able to evacuate safely.

No other details were immediately available.
