Firefighters quickly contain Dayton house fire

UPDATE @ 1:20 a.m.: 

A fire reported in a house on Alaska Street in Dayton has reportedly been contained, according to initial reports. 

There have been no immediate reports of injuries. 


Firefighters have responded to reports of a house fire on Alaska Street in Dayton early Friday morning.

Crews were dispatched around 1 a.m. to the house in the 300 block of Alaska Street and reported smoke and flames coming from the structure.

Initial reports indicate the house is vacant and was boarded up when firefighters arrived.
