Fundraisers to aid family of injured Troy teen

Friends and family of an injured Troy woman are hosting a fundraiser to help defray medical costs.

A car wash will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at AutoZone, 1827 W. Main St., in Troy. Proceeds will go to the family of Rachel Stump, a freshman at The Ohio State University who was struck while crossing a street on campus this past weekend.

Stump is in serious condition and has had surgery. She remains in intensive care.

T-shirts in honor of Stump are for sale at Ink’D Tees, 306 S. Dorset Road. All proceeds will go to her family.

More information about that is available at www.facebook.com/inkdteestroy.
