Gala to benefit the Butterfly Playground

The Yukta Garg Memorial Foundation and the Washington Township Recreation Center will present a Bollywood Gala Sunday, March 9 at 3 p.m. at the center’s west auditorium at 965 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd.

Proceeds from the free gala will benefit the Butterfly Playground, a project to increase creative play opportunities in the area. The project started last fall and plans to carry out five more phases. The organization is looking to build play areas focused on natural history, woodlands and pond and streams. Each site will be handicapped accessible.
