Hundreds plopped over adult-sized inflatables tonight during a fun-run obstacle course benefiting Shoes 4 the Shoeless.
The Great Inflatable Race was held tonight at First Baptist Church of Kettering, 3939 Swigart Road, Beavercreek.
A 5K is from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church.
Thousands of people are registered and hundreds of volunteers participating in this weekend’s events, said Shoes for the Shoeless Executive Director Kris Horlacher.
Shoes 4 the Shoeless is a nonprofit organization that provides new, correctly fitting gym shoes and socks to Dayton area children in desperate need. Since its founding in 2010, more than 50,000 pairs of shoes and socks have been provided to disadvantaged children.
