Greene County seeks mask donations as students, staff prepare to return to school

Greene County Public Health officials are asking for donations of hand-sewn facial coverings or masks to help keep the community safe during the coronavirus pandemic.

Distribution of the masks will focus on community members, students and administrators heading back to school in the fall in order to help keep them safe and healthy.

Greene County Public House will serve as a “clearinghouse” for masks and is encouraging anyone who makes face masks to donate.

Anyone interested in making masks can visit the CDC’s website for no-sew and sew instructions.
