Greenville shooting victim dropped off at hospital, police say

A 20-year-old shooting victim was dropped off at Wayne Healthcare Friday and police are now investigating the incident.

Officers responded to the emergency room of the hospital around 12 a.m. after the victim was dropped off, police said.

An investigation revealed the victim was shot in the 1300 block of North Chippewa Drive before he was taken to the hospital by two individuals, according to a news release.

The victim was treated and released from the hospital.
