Police: Endangered missing Dayton man found safe

Cornelius Hunter has been found and is safe, according to Dayton police.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing man who walked away from a Mary Scott Nursing Center Monday night.

Cornelius Hunter, 68, walked away from the nursing center around 6:30 p.m. Monday and has not returned. Hunter has dementia and has other medical issues, according to police.

He is bald with brown eyes, is 5’11’ and 140 pounds, and was last seen wearing an olive green shirt, grey sweats and a black hat.
