Local Taco Bell restaurants are giving away a free Doritos Locos Taco from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in its stores today, Wednesday Oct. 30, with no purchase necessary. That’s because Washington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner stole second base in the first inning of Game 1 of the World Series, and today is “Redemption Day” for the Steal a Base free-taco promotion.

Can't make it between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.? Customers can still score a free taco by ordering and picking up anytime today through the Taco Bell app OR through Tacobell.com, Taco Bell officials said.
There is a limit of one free taco per person, while supplies last.

The offer is good at “participating locations,” but a phone call to three Dayton-area Taco Bell restaurants in Kettering, Huber Heights and Moraine found all were participating, and one store manager said she did not know of any local restaurants that were not honoring the national promotion. Still, the offer does say, “While supplies last” and “at participating restaurants,” so you may want to score a taco while the bases are loaded.
