On Sunday, a security camera at Tracy Cameron’s house shows two cars speeding through the neighborhood.
Kate Millward who lives nearby said, “You could just hear car revving their engines.”
The video shows the cars driving around a blind curve. “It’s literally a 90-degree curve,” Millward said,
On video, you can see the car side-by-side seemingly racing down Slagle Road, slamming into multiple things on the side of the road and then taking off.
Cameron told News Center 7 “we noticed our mailbox was taken out.”
Since the mailbox was taken out, the Cameron’s have replaced the mailbox. However, the mailbox was hit so hard that the entire post was pulled out of the ground.
“I wasn’t even worried about the mailbox, but to see two cars flying around the corner, side-by-side,” Cameron said.
According to Millward, speeding is an on-going problem.
News Center 7 learned that a sheriff deputy has been sitting on the street for the past couple of days, watching for drivers who are speeding.
Courvell said in the first 20 minutes that she was on Slagle Road two drivers were pulled over for speeding.
“it’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurts,” Millward said.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking that if anyone knows who the drivers in the video are, to call them.
