2 hurt in wreck on Jasper Road, Greene County

UPDATE @ 6:20 a.m.: The two people trapped in this crash are now in stable condition at Miami Valley Hospital, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Troopers said alcohol was involved in the crash and charges could be filed against the driver.

The driver was identified as Chadd Sollenberger, 20, of Jamestown. His passenger was Kaleb Hegyi, 21, of Xenia, according to the Highway Patrol.

Crews had to cut off the roof of the car to rescue the men, troopers said.

UPDATE @ 12:38 a.m.: One victim from the crash of a two-door Honda Civic on Jasper Road was taken to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight, the other by ground medic, said a trooper with the Ohio Highway Patrol.

A preliminary investigation shows the car went off the right side of the road, and then the left side before it began rolling, the trooper said.

The conditions of the victims were not immediately available.

Jasper Road is about to reopen to traffic following the crash investigation.

FIRST REPORT: At least two people were injured in what is believed to be a single-vehicle wreck late Tuesday in the 3800 block of Jasper Road, near Apache Trail.

CareFlight was dispatched to ferry the injured to area hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately known.

Law enforcement and medic units were dispatched just after 11 p.m. on a report of a rollover accident with entrapment.

Waynesville Jamestown Road, to the southeast of the crash scene, was closed to through-traffic for a time because of the accident.
