Medical helicopters called for all 3 victims of 4-wheeler crash in Shelby County

Two medical helicopters were called Saturday night for all three victims of a 4-wheeler crash.

The crash was reported around 9:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of Sidney-Freyburg Road in Dinsmore Twp. east of Botkins in Shelby County.

The victims were described as three females who were reportedly unconscious following the crash, according to initial reports.

One CareFlight helicopter was called for two patients, and a MedFlight helicopter later was called for the third patient, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

The extent of the victims’ injuries was not known, and the sheriff’s office said it was not clear whether they were adults or juveniles.
