No injuries reported after Dayton crews extinguish house fire

No injuries are reported after Dayton fire crews extinguished a house fire in the 2500 block of Salem Avenue Monday evening. 

Dispatchers said crews encountered flames and smoke coming from the front windows of the small two-story home. 

The cause of the fire remains unknown, according to dispatchers.

INITIAL REPORT

Crews dispatched to the 2500 block of Salem Avenue on report of a structure fire. 

The dispatch was made about 5 p.m.
