2020 Dayton Jazz Festival canceled

The Dayton Jazz Festival is the latest victim in a slew of summer festivals and concerts canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The festival was scheduled for June 7 at Levitt Pavilion.

It will not be rescheduled, according to the City of Dayton.

Updates on the Dayton Blues, Funk and Reggae festivals are expected at a later date.

Though Ohio began to reopen on May 1, Gov. Mike DeWine said that events that draw large crowds, such as sporting events, festivals and concerts, would resume toward the end of the reopening process.
