2 killed in Warren County crash

Two people were killed on Thursday in a head-on crash on U.S. 22 in Warren County, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Preliminary investigation indicated Nancy Barton, 78, of Clarksville and Christopher Holsinger, 40, of Hillsboro, were killed when Holsinger’s eastbound 2011 Chevrolet HHR crossed the center-line and crashed head-on into Barton’s 2004 Buick LeSabre about 2:45 p.m. Thursday.

Barton and Holsinger were pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation is continuing. The press release indicated alcohol or drugs were not suspected to be a factor in the crash.

The Warren County Coroner’s Office is awaiting the results of toxicology screens, according to Chief Investigator Doyle Burke.
