Lane closures on I-75 this week

Drivers who take Interstate 75 will encounter new lane closures this week in southern Miami County and northern Montgomery County in the Miller Lane/I-70 interchange area in both directions.

I-75 northbound and southbound between County Road 25A(Tipp City) and Northwoods Boulevard will have daily lane closures through Sept. 11 between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Two lanes will remain open in each direction at all times.

On I-75 between Northwoods Boulevard and I-70, there will be nightly lane closures through Sept. 12 between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. These will become double lane closures at 9 pm.

Here’s a look at some of the other construction zones in the area this week:

Montgomery County

• I-70 eastbound and westbound between Airport Access Road and State Route 48, nightly lane closures through Sept. 20 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

• U.S. 35 between Abbey Avenue and James H. McGee Boulevard, daily lane closures through Nov. 15 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Two lanes will remain open in each direction at all times.

• I-75 southbound between I-70 and Stanley Avenue, nightly lane closures through Sept. 11 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. These will become double lane closures at 10 p.m. One southbound lane will remain open at all times.

• Airport Access Road between I-70 and the Dayton International Airport, 24 Hour Lane closures through Sept. 26. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

• I-75 north and south between Main Street and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, Nightly lane closures through Oct. 31 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

• US 35 between James H. McGee Boulevard and Perry Street, Nightly lane closures through Oct. 31 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

• I-70 eastbound ramp to Airport Access Road, 24 hour ramp closure through Sept. 12. The official detour is: I-70 east to I-75 north to US 40 to Airport Access Road.

• Fredrick Pike under I-70, 24 hour road closure through Nov. 3 The official detour during this closure is: Southbound -US 40 east to Dog Leg Road south to Little York Road west to Fredrick Pike. Northbound- Little York Road east to Dog Leg Road north to US 40 west to Fredrick Pike.

Clark County

• US 68 northbound and southbound between I-70 and US 40, 24 hour lane closures through Sept. 26. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

• I-70 east and west between the State Route 4/State Route 235 and State Route 4/Enon Road, Nightly lane closures through Oct. 31 from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

Darke County

• US 127 between Otterbein-Ithaca Road and Davidson Road, 24 hour road closure through Sept. 12. The official detour during this closure is: SR 503 south to US 40 west to US 127

Miami County

• State Route 571 between County Road 25A(Tipp City) and I-75, Daily lane closures through Sept. 22 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction through the use of flaggers.

Shelby County

• I-75 northbound and southbound between State Route 119 and State Route 274, daily lane closures through Sept. 18 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

• I-75 northbound and southbound between CR 25A (Piqua) and State Route 219, nightly lane closures through Sept. 30 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.

Champaign County

• US 68 between Campground Road and State Route 296, lane closures through Sept. 15 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. One lane will remain open for travel in both directions through the use of flaggers.
