I-75 N lanes clear after 8-vehicle wreck at Edwin C. Moses Blvd. exit in Dayton

UPDATE @ 6:03 p.m.: All northbound lanes of I-75 are open.

UPDATE @ 4:45 p.m.

One person was taken to a hospital after an eight-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 North at the Edwin C. Moses Boulevard exit.

The injuries to the one person are not life-threatening, Dayton police said. 

There are five cars and three pickup trucks involved in the accident. Police are speaking with each of the drivers. 

The far right lane continues to be open, but the traffic backup is extensive.


A reported multiple-vehicle accident on I-75 North at the Edwin C. Moses Boulevard exit had the interstate shut down for several minutes. 

There is at least one injury being reported in from the accident, which is said to involved as many as four vehicles. 

The accident was reported about 4:14 p.m. 

At 4:26 p.m., the far right lane has reopened.
