DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: Skies will remain mostly cloudy with patchy areas of fog possible, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Some drizzle cannot be ruled out. Temperatures will fall back into the middle 50s.

Tuesday: Skies will remain mostly cloudy but a few breaks are expected by afternoon. Temperatures will rebound back into the lower 70s.

Wednesday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds with a slow warming trend continuing. Highs will push into the upper 70s.

Thursday: Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast with temperatures back in the lower 80s. There is a slight chance for a pop-up shower or storm in the afternoon.

Friday: Lots of sunshine will end the week. With temperatures climbing into the middle 80s and a bit more humidity, there will be a slight chance for a late day shower or storm.

Saturday: Some increase in high clouds is expected as Florence impacts the east coast. Highs will still reach into the lower to middle 80s.
