@4 p.m. Wednesday: Miami Twp. trustees have approved a motion for a liquor permit at a site that has operated as a strip club near the Dayton Mall.
Trustees voted 3-0 Tuesday night in favor of the motion, which was supported by the police department.
“At this point in time in the police department, we find no reason to contest this permit,” Miami Twp. Police Chief Charlie Stiegelmeyer said.
An application for a full liquor license at a site that has operated as a strip club near the Dayton Mall is set to go before Miami Twp. trustees tonight.
Trustees will consider the application for 8911 Kingsridge Drive, in space that has operated as a strip club, according to Ohio Division of Liquor Control online records and the club’s Facebook page.
The club operated earlier this year as Alicia’s Cabaret, which bills itself on its web page as “Dayton Ohio’s hottest new premium gentlemen’s club.”
The Alicia’s Cabaret Facebook page says the business re-branded as Pazzazz Showclub in May. The club previously operated as Pazzazz.
Commonly, the township’s police department makes recommendations to trustees on whether to seek a hearing on the application.
Miami Twp. trustees are set to meet at 6 p.m. tonight at the Miami Twp. Government Center, 2700 Lyons Road.
