This weekend, a number of bazaars, craft shows and local business open houses to kick off the holiday season.

It doesn’t matter who’s on your shopping list, most likely you’ll be able to find that unique present at one of these events.

HOLIDAY SHOPPING EVENTS

YULETIDE WINTER’S GATHERING

The annual tradition of Yuletide Winter’s Gathering returns to Tipp City’s historical downtown this weekend on Saturday, Nov. 10 and Sunday, Nov. 11 as local business owners show off their shops, restaurants and other offerings.

The annual holiday kick-off event is in its 25th year and is held each year during the second weekend of November.

Hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

The historic district offers more than 35 locally owned boutiques and restaurants with specialties including toys, games, vintage finds and antiques, collectibles, fashions, handmade soaps, home decor, art, jewelry and books. In addition to the open house, some stores will offer sales and others will be unveiling new winter lines.

There will also be horse-drawn carriage rides and pictures with Santa.

When: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11

ONE STOP HOLIDAY SHOP AT AULLWOOD

Aullwood's third annual One Stop Holiday Shop brings over 25 of your favorite area museum stores, community non-profit organizations and local artisans together in one location for one day to create a one stop holiday shopping experience! Enjoy a full day of browsing hand-crafted wonders, distinctive gifts and one of a kind finds. Rediscover old favorites and returning local artists, and explore new artisans joining us this year with fresh finds. When you need a moment to recharge and review your shopping list, visit the Aullwood Café for warm soups, tasty sandwiches and sweet treats. Admission to this event and both Aullwood Farm and Aullwood Nature Center is free this Saturday, so plan to come out and spend the day with us.

Offerings will include pottery, photography, paintings, baskets, crocheted items, soaps & personal care products, woodworking, jewelry, beaded items, notecards, upcycled glass art, nature-inspired decor, spun wool crafts, home & garden gifts, museum shop items and even adoptable pets.

ST. LEONARD KREATIVE KORNER ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: Nov. 9, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at The Franciscan Center, Provincial Way, Washington Twp. The volunteers of Kreative Korner invite you to their annual holiday bazaar to be held Nov. 9 & 10 at the Franciscan Center on the St. Leonard campus. Come by to shop for Christmas gifts and decor.

DAYTON WOMAN'S CLUB HOLIDAY BAZAAR: Nov. 9, 12 p.m.-6 p.m. at The Dayton Woman's Club, 225 N. Ludlow St., Dayton. POLK GROVE UCC CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: Nov. 10, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at Polk Grove UCC, 9190 Frederick Pike, Dayton. There will be many direct-sales and craft vendors, including Scentsy, Stampin' Up!, Thirty-One, Avon, LuLaRoe, Beauty & Grace, Abby & Anna, Magnolia & Vine, Tupperware, ColorSTREET, and much more. There will also be a bake sale, including peanut brittle, Buckeyes, caramels, fudge and many more baked goods. Lunch, including cabbage rolls and pulled pork, and a variety of new and used Christmas items, will also be for sale. Join in and get your Christmas shopping started. ASCENSION HARVEST OF VALUES BAZAAR: Nov. 10, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Ascension Church Parish Activity Center, 2001 Woodman Drive, Dayton. Crafts, jewelry, knitted/crocheted items, quilting, baked goods, books, lunch. Featuring more than 50 vendors.

2018 ST. PETER CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: Nov. 10, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at St. Peter Parish at 6161 Chambersburg Road, Huber Heights. Saturday and Sunday, featuring over 75 vendors, homemade soups, cabbage rolls, a bake sale, raffle items, 50/50 Raffle with 50 percent going to The Giving Tree, Treasure of Christmas Past, Secret Santa Shop, and Santa on Sunday from 12-2 p.m.

ST. MATTHEW LUTHERAN CHURCH HOLIDAY BAZAAR: Nov. 10, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 5566 Chambersburg Road, Huber Heights. A warm lunch of soups, side dishes and sandwiches will be served. In addition to hand-made crafts, there will be homemade baked goods, pies and cookies. HOLIDAY BAZAAR: Nov. 10, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Darke County Fairgrounds Youth Building, 800 Sweitzer St., Greenville. Fort Black Chapter OES invites everyone to their Christmas bazaar. There will be 50 vendors with a wide selection of craft items, baked goods and specialty items. Concessions will be available. ST. TERESA ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: Nov. 10, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church, W. 6925 US-36, Covington. Free annual Christmas Bazaar. There will be a raffle, baked goods, handcrafted items, and outside crafters and vendors.

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: Nov. 10, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Greene County Fairgrounds, 210 Fairground Road, Xenia. Presented by The Greene Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Held at the Greene County Fairground Dining Hall. 50/50 Raffle, lunch, Arts and Crafts, health screen and more.

Featuring hundreds of products made by artisans from around the world who receive a fair wage for their work. Christians from the Americas, Asia and Africa will showcase jewelry, purses, blankets, soaps, tableware, wooden utensils, Christmas decorations and more. SOUTHERN HILLS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: Nov. 10, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Southern Hills United Methodist Church , 2287 S. Dixie Drive., Dayton.
