A Middletown man accused of making a terroristic threat toward a Liberty Twp. movie theater last month entered a guilty plea to a reduced charge.
During a preliminary hearing held Wednesday in Butler County Area II Court, Justin Pickron pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated menacing, a misdemeanor. Pickron was charged with making terroristic threats which was a third-degree felony.
Pickron, 21, was given credit for time served in jail and was placed on two years reporting probation and ordered to pay court costs.
In addition, Pickron was ordered not to have any contact with the alleged victims or the Cobb Theater at Liberty Center.
Pickron is accused of making comments on April 25 to co-workers at the Cobb Theater about bringing a gun to work and shooting people inside the theater. Butler County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Pickron early the next week in Middletown.
