Man ejected, killed in two-vehicle crash in Warren County

One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash with ejection Wednesday evening on state Route 123.

William E. Laseur, 78, of Morrow, was pronounced dead at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center shortly after arriving by AirCare, according to a release.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Morrow-Woodville Road around 5:26 p.m. when a white Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Laseur, attempted to make a left turn onto Ohio 132 from Morrow-Woodville Road and was struck by a silver Ford Focus traveling south.

Laseur was ejected when his Chevy overturned after being struck, the release stated.

There were two 16-year-old male occupants in the Focus. The driver was from Wilmington and the passenger was from Clarkesville, authorities said.

They were taken to Bethesda Medial Center by EMS personnel with minor injuries.

A preliminary crash investigation indicates Laseur was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation.

The Ohio Highway State Patrol’s Lebanon Post, Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Harlan Twp. fire/EMS assisted at the scene.
