Man in hospital after car rolls into Family Dollar parking lot

Police are investigating after a car rolled into the Family Dollar parking lot at 440 N. James H McGee Blvd. in Dayton at around 4:17 a.m., sending the driver to the hospital.

According to police, the car ran off the road, hit a tree and rolled over into the parking lot. The man had non-life-threatening injuries, so medics took him to Miami Valley Hospital.

Police said they don’t think that the man was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, but may have been driving too fast.

The crash is still under investigation.
