Victim identified in deadly 2-vehicle accident on I-75 north exit ramp to Vandalia

UPDATE @ 12:34 p.m. (Aug. 11): A man who died Saturday in a two-vehicle crash on the I-75 north exit ramp to Northwoods Boulevard has been identified as a Beavercreek man.

The man was identified as Travis Mora, 36, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

The cause and manner of death have not been determined at this time.

UPDATE @ 7:23 p.m. (Aug. 10): One person was killed and eight others suffered minor injuries in the two-vehicle accident on the northbound I-75 exit ramp to Northwoods Boulevard in Vandalia, the Ohio State Highway Patrol confirms.

Wreckers are on scene and the ramp should reopen soon, according to the patrol.

Medics from Butler Twp., Englewood, Tipp City and Huber Heights responded to the scene, according to a tweet from the fire department:

INITIAL REPORT (Aug. 10)

Five medics were requested this evening for people injured in a multi-vehicle crash on the Interstate 75 North ramp to Northwoods Boulevard.

The exit ramp at Exit 64 is closed following the crash reported shortly before 5:30 p.m., but northbound traffic is not affected.

The number of people injured and vehicles involved was not immediately available.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Dayton Post is handling the investigation, but Vandalia police also responded.

The Ohio Department of Transportation has been contacted to assist with traffic control and updating the traffic boards in the area, according to the highway patrol.
