Zachary Haney, 35, was intoxicated, agitated, uncooperative and resisted arrest when Rockford Police Chief and Mercer County deputies arrived on a call about a threat.

A .25-caliber handgun and drugs were found in the area of the arrest, authorities said.

Upon checking, authorities learned of an active warrant for Haney out of Mercer County on a probation violation charge.

Haney remains jailed on that charge.
