Man missing from Clark County safely located

Robert Hyland, a Clark County man who was the subject of an endangered missing adult alert, was safely located in Pike Twp., Clark County, officials said in an updated release. 


A 59-year-old man is reportedly missing in Clark County.

Robert Hyland, 59, was last heard from on Facebook Messenger Thursday around 5 p.m. reportedly walking between Dayton and Springfield, deputies said.

Hyland has red/grey hair, hazel eyes and is approximately 5-foot-6.  He is said to weigh 290 pounds.

Deputies do not have a clothing description for Hyland and he’s possibly around the North Hampton Road area in Pike Twp., deputies said.

Hyland is considered an endangered missing adult, because he is dependent on medication for serious health issues.  He’s also reportedly made suicidal comments before, deputies said.
