Flood warning issued for Indiana county; chilly with showers overnight

A Flood Warning is in effect until further notice in Randolph County, Indiana, after lowland flooding developed along the Mississinewa River near Ridgeville in the western portion of the county.

Overnight: Off and on showers will continue overnight with steady rain redeveloping closer to sunrise, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Brizzy and chilly conditions remain, with temperatures falling to a low around 40 degrees. Winds may gust up to 30 to 35 mph at night.

Saturday: Cloudy and cool again. Passing showers linger through most of the day. Downpours embedded with the showers are possible at times. Northwest Miami Valley might even see a wet flake or two mix in during the morning. Highs will be in the upper 40s. Drying into Saturday night.

Sunday: Easter Sunday will start out chilly in the upper 30s. Clouds will quickly decrease, allowing for some sunshine. Highs will peak in the upper 60s.

Monday: A warmer start to the workweek is expected with highs in the mid-70s. Expect sunshine and scattered clouds.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy and warm conditions are expected with the chance for passing showers, and even an isolated thunderstorm, into the afternoon. It stays mild with high temperatures in the low 70s.

Wednesday: Another mostly cloudy day with the chance of a few passing showers with an isolated thunderstorm. It will be a mild day with highs in the middle 60s.
