Some gin drinkers in Canada got more than they paid for when they recently purchased bottles of Bombay Sapphire.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency reported on May 2 that the brand's London Dry Gin was being recalled in Canada, because the gin contained 77 percent alcohol, rather than the usual 40 percent.

They warned customers not to drink the alcohol.

However, CNN Money stated that there have been no reports of anyone getting sick from drinking the gin.

Canadian health authorities said the problem occurred when a batch was bottled before it was correctly diluted. Only a “small” amount of 1.1-liter bottles were affected, according to CNN Money.
