I-75 North reopened near Piqua after semi leaves roadway

UPDATE @ 9 a.m.: I-75 North lanes have been reopened after the tractor-trailer was removed.

UPDATE at 8:27 a.m.: Northbound I-75 is shut down right now while crews pull the semi from the side of the road near the exit for County Road 25A, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

The patrol said the shutdown should not last long.

EARLIER: The right lane on Interstate 75 North was slowed this morning in the Piqua area after a semi went off the highway.

The crash happened at approximately 7:45 a.m. near the exit for County Road 25A.No injuries were reported.

Within the past few weeks there have been at least two other tractor-trailers that went off the highway in the Piqua area.
