Power restored to over 4K DP&L customers in Montgomery County

UPDATE @ 7:35 a.m: Power has been restored to over 4,000 Dayton Power & Light customers who experienced a power outage Monday morning.

According to the online outage map, 4,442 customers were without power, and affected areas included north of Trotwood, south of Englewood, and east of Ohio 49 around 7 a.m.

Emergency scanner traffic indicated several traffic lights along Salem Avenue and Ohio 49 were also out as a result of the outage. Police were requested for traffic control.

The estimated time of restoration listed 8 a.m., per the outage map. As of 7:35 a.m. only 150 customers are still without power.
