One taken to hospital after pedestrian struck on I-75

One person was taken to the hospital early this morning after a crash involving a commercial vehicle and a pedestrian on I-75 North near the Dixie Highway exit, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatch records.

The pedestrian was taken to the Kettering Medical Center, dispatchers said, but their condition was unknown.

The left lanes were closed due to the crash, but have now reopened,  according to the OSHP.

Dispatchers said that officers originally responded to the 47.2 mile marker on a report of a disabled vehicle at 5:11 a.m.

In scanner traffic emergency crews said that there was a person down in the road.
