The store just opened a couple of weeks ago, but already the gift store at 1132 Brown St. should be high on your list for holiday shopping.
Square One Salon and Spa co-owner Joshua Stucky opened the store in the same building as Square One's new location in University Park just in time for Small Business Saturday on Nov. 28, and said business has been booming already.

Whether you're shopping for your closest friends and family or looking for a great white elephant present for a co-worker, you can cross off every person on your list with Agnes and Orson's eclectic array of candles, bags, jewelry, ornaments, novelty books, dirty cards and dishware, vintage items and much, much more. The following is but a short list of suggestions from our recent visit.

For something a little more unique to hang on the tree, how about a feather-filled orb? These beauties catch the light gorgeously. Price range $8-$20.
Succulents and terrariums

Who doesn't love a succulent or a cacti? For the friend who's ready to nurture something but may not be quite ready for a cat or a fish yet, start them out slow with a hardy, yet lovely plant. Price ranges from $5 to $90 for glass-enclosed plants. Already have the plant or glass and don't know where to go from there? Stucky will assist you in your terrarium journey.

It's a real treat to ring in the New Year with classic glasses like these one-of-a-kind vintage glassware. The shot glasses to the left come four to a set with matching cocktail mixer ($30); the round rocks glasses, on the other hand, went home with the author.
