Police are investigating after a robber targeted the Security National Bank in Springfield Tuesday morning.
TRENDING: 2 drivers killed, infant injured in head-on crash in Champaign County
Officers were dispatched to the bank at 920 West Main Street around 10:40 a.m. after an employee reported a robbery.
Reports indicate the robber entered the bank and passed a note demanding cash before fleeing the area on foot.
There were no initial reports of injuries.
