Piqua police working to ID men, vehicles in shots-fired incident outside Walmart

The Piqua Police Department has asked for the public’s help in identifying two males involved in Monday’s shots-fired incident outside the Walmart on East Ash Street.

Chief Bruce Jamison said that based on store surveillance recordings, police have determined the people involved in the incident had left before law enforcement arrived.

Lockdowns were put into place at several schools near the store, Chief Jamison said, including Piqua City Schools (high school and junior high), Upper Valley Career Center and Edison State Community College.
