Three delivery drivers assaulted, robbed in 24 hours

Three Domino’s Pizza delivery drivers were assaulted and/or robbed within 24 hours, according to Dayton police reports.

The first incident was reported around 1:32 a.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of Elsmere Avenue.

Cash, a cell phone and a vehicle were stolen during the incident, according to the report.

The second incident reportedly occurred around 11:15 a.m. in the 600 block of Kenwood Avenue.

The victim reported that she was making a call to a new customer when she noticed the suspects make their way to her vehicle.

The first suspect opened the driver side door and punched her in the face before pulling her from the vehicle, read the report.

The second suspect reportedly began punching her while the first suspect got in the vehicle and attempted to drive away.

The victim pulled the first suspect from the vehicle and was able to get in and drive away, according to the report.

Just before police arrived, Domino’s reportedly received another order for the same address.

Police went to the address and made contact with a man outside the residence. He told officers he had not placed an order and was not home when it was delivered, according to the report.

Officers responded to the third incident in the 200 block of Sherman Street around 11:38 p.m. Sunday.

The victim was attempting to deliver an order when she was struck in the head with a purse from behind, read the report.

The three female suspects reportedly assaulted the victim until she was able to get into her vehicle and started honking the horn.

One of the suspects tried to enter the passenger side of the vehicle before the suspects fled on foot toward Tato Street, read the report.

A resident was reportedly able to provide video surveillance to police.

The victim’s car and house keys were stolen during the incident, according to the report.
