A Monroe road will be closed for about two weeks as the road department repairs potholes caused by the extreme fluctuations in temperatures this winter, the city announced.

Butler-Warren Road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily between Mason Road and the city’s corporation limit at Nickel Road beginning today for about two weeks, weather permitting.

The city will use two full street crews working together to complete these repairs as soon as possible, the city said. Detours will be posted during this time, and the road will be opened each evening.
