A Dayton student is accused of assaulting a school safety officer who was trying to break up a fight, according to a police report.

The safety officer told police that she was trying to break up an altercation Monday at Wright Brothers Middle School and that a student became “aggressive and violent.”

The student reportedly pushed the safety officer against a wall and injured her arm.

The student was no longer on the scene when the safety officer called police.
