The incident was reported near the Sunoco gas station, at the southbound I-75 exit ramp to North County Road 25A around noon.

Initial reports indicate the person was run over while working on a vehicle they thought was not in gear. When the vehicle moved it rolled over the person working on it, emergency scanner traffic indicates.

A CareFlight medical helicopter was requested to the scene to transport the injured person to an area hospital.

Fire crews have asked for the exit ramp from southbound I-75 to North County Road 25A to be shut down while the incident is investigated.

We have a crew on the way and we’ll update this story as we learn more.
