The robbery was first reported near the intersection of Brandt Pike and Fishburg Road just after 10 a.m.
The victim said she was on the way to the T-Mobile store to pay the bill when a man approached her, displayed a gun, and took cash from her, records show.

The robber took off on foot which prompted a large police search and investigation.
Due to the search, all Huber Heights City Schools went on a modified lockdown that will be in place through the rest of the day, according to the school district.
Previously, the district said the modified lockdown means students are still able to move between classes in their building but are not permitted outside the building.
Morning preschool was dismissed as normal and dismissals at the rest of the district’s schools will also be conducted as normal.
No injuries have been reported and it is unknown if police have identified a suspect.
Officers have cleared the area and have not provided additional details on the status of the investigation.

UPDATE @ 11:25 a.m.:
A modified lockdown will be in place at all Huber Heights City Schools for the rest of the school day after police investigated an armed robbery reported in the area of Brandt Pike and Fishburg Road.
District officials said the modified lockdown was expanded to all schools in the district because the suspect remains on the run.
The modified lockdown means students are still able to move between classes in their building but are not permitted outside the building, according to a school district statement.

A representative of St. Peter School said their building will follow the lead of Huber Heights schools on lockdown decisions.
Officers continue to investigate and search in the area of the robbery but additional details have not been provided by police.

Three schools in Huber Heights have been placed on lockdown while police investigate an armed robbery, according to dispatchers.
Wright Brothers Elementary, Wayne High School, and St. Peters School all were placed on lockdown after the armed robbery was reported near Brandt Pike and Fishburg Road.
The robbery was involving only individuals but a gun was displayed during the incident, according to dispatchers and initial reports.
No injuries have been reported.

Multiple officers have responded to reports of an armed robbery near the intersection of Brandt Pike and Fishburg Road in Huber Heights.
Dispatchers said the robbery was only involving individuals and did not involve a business.
