Hoover, 42, was found stabbed behind a residence on Embury Park Road on June 10, and was pronounced dead at Grandview Medical Center. The coroner's office ruled the incident a homicide and said Hoover died of multiple stab wounds.
Hoover’s mother and daughter, who are still mourning the loss, are now focused on finding the missing guest book.
“We absolutely don’t care who has it or why you have it”, said Kelsey Jewett, Hoover’s daughter. “If you have it, we just want it back”.
They are not accusing anyone of stealing the book and are aware it could have simply been misplaced, as there were plenty of visitors at Hoover’s funeral last week.
“That’s our one last memory to speak of Amber”, said Theresa Jones, Hoover’s mother.
According to a Montgomery County Sheriff's incident report, deputies found two witnesses and a possible suspect when her body was found.
Sheriff's investigators know who fatally stabbed Hoover, but they have not arrested the person.
