Rising temps on way to sunny Friday

Temperatures will dip into the mid teens overnight before the sun rises and temps go up to highs near 30, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Jamie Simpson.

"Still looks like the chance for a few light snow showers north late afternoon and evening," Simpson said.

No accumulation is expected.

For Thursday, clouds give way to sun as temps start near 20 and rise to the mid 30s.

"Friday still looks like the pick of the week, in the 40s with a good amount of sunshine," Simpson said.

Precipitation returns Saturday with rain in the afternoon and snow showers at night.

Temps are expected to stay up near 40 on Sunday.

Next week should be warmer as temps could reach 50 on Monday.
