2 transported to hospital following head-on crash in Greene County

UPDATE @ 11:01 p.m.:

Two people were transported to Miami Valley Hospital following a crash which left Treibein Road close for nearly 90 minutes, said Sgt. Rod Murphy of the Xenia Ohio State Highway Patrol.

A man and woman were trapped inside a 2007 Honda Civic after it hit head-on with another vehicle, Murphy said. He said he does not believe their injuries are life-threatening. A man and woman in the second vehicle were reportedly treated at the scene.

Murphy said one of the vehicles went left of center, but police are not currently able to determine which it was. They are also working to learn a possible cause behind the accident, he said.

Trebein Road at Turfland Boulevard reopened following the crash in Beavercreek Sunday around 8:30 p.m., said Sgt. Richard Milstead of the Xenia Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Emergency crews are at the scene of a vehicle crash with possible entrapment in Beavercreek.

Crews were dispatched to the area of Trebein Road at Turfland Boulevard around 8:30 p.m., according to initial reports.

Trebein Road at Turfland Boulevard is currently closed, according to Greene County dispatchers.
